About the Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition

At the Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition, we believe every family deserves access to compassionate, high-quality and evidence-based lactation support. Our mission is to nurture a community where breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and human milk feeding are supported, valued, and celebrated.

We do this by:

    •  Educating families, healthcare providers, and the community through evidence-based programs and outreach;

    •  Supporting families with compassionate, evidence-based lactation resources and connections; and

    •  Building community partnerships that make it easier for families to reach their feeding goals, wherever they live, work, and play in Napa County.

Vision:

We envision a Napa County where every baby has the best start in life, every parent feels confident and supported, and breastfeeding is embraced as a joyful and integral part of our community’s well-being.
